unhelpful receptionist arrival stress
The room I received on arrival was not satisfactory. It was on floor -1. The receptionist dismissed my concerns, stating a sea view meant walking onto the balcony and around the corner. It caused unnecessary stress.

convenient location excellent food attentive service
the hotel location near flamingo beach was convenient it was just a short walk. i enjoyed the excellent food choices available for breakfast and dinner. the sports bar team xavi jairo and jessica provided fantastic service they were very attentive.
the gym had many mosquitoes i was bitten several times during my workout

cramped master bedroom cold swimming pools
I was excited about the hotel. I upgraded my room expecting more space, but the master bedroom felt cramped. The bathroom door was also swollen and chipped. It did not feel 5-star. The pools were REALLY cold. I could barely stay in for a few minutes. The food selection was wide, but the taste was repetitive. I got tired of it after a few days.

average stay with a couple of issues
ineffective air conditioning noisy beds
the location of the hotel is suitable. it is close to the beach and also the town is within walking distance.
the air conditioning in the room was not effective. it struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature at night. the so-called double bed was actually two single beds pushed together. they separated easily and were quite noisy.

This hotel offered a focus on environmental sustainability. I liked that. The food in the restaurant was good. Staff were helpful. Drinks at the bar were top notch. They were a highlight each evening.

The hotel is close to the promenade for walking. Playa Flamingo is a short walk away. Playa Blanca is near. It offers dining and shopping. The little beach is located two minutes to the right.

The staff are enthusiastic. They are friendly and efficient. Housekeeping staff cleaned the rooms to a high standard. The minibar was topped up regularly. This was a nice service.
